Bidrage med feedbackThe service was quick, the prices were reasonable, and it's a family-owned restaurant. I really enjoyed my Pad Thai!
I'm not entirely sure about the range of prices at this restaurant, but I found my meal for one to be a bit pricey at around $30 with tip. However, I have no regrets at all about the cost (and I think I tipped closer to 20% because the softly spoken young lady who served me was incredibly sweet, and she handled my requests perfectly even while folding napkins in between). I arrived at 5 PM, so there were no lunch specials, and I came in quite hungry, which led to a few substitutions that pushed my bill over $20. Nonetheless, I genuinely enjoyed my relaxing solo dinner in the quiet, beautifully decorated atmosphere (inside, that is). The service was unpretentious, and the food was delivered directly to my table, showcasing the colorful, fresh meal prepared in the kitchen. I'm not sure how the service would have been during busier times, but visiting around 5 PM was very peaceful, perfect for an early bird like me. I was so relaxed that the repetitive instrumental music in the background didn't bother me at all. The restroom was also clean and well-stocked. I would be interested in exploring their essentials for better price options, but honestly, if I come back, I would likely order two dishes to sample more from the chef!
The food was quite good, although the portions were not very large. It's perfect if you enjoy a bit of spice! However, the customer service prevented me from giving it a full five stars. The staff member was rude and didn’t even acknowledge us during our visit. Aside from that, the meal was excellent and prepared very quickly.
Eating was excellent. satay huhn was amazing and the bark in the bark lo my was soft. I wish if the dining room is 3/4 empty that they don't sit the few people up there. but the dining room is beautiful.
I had high hopes for this place, given the 4.5 starts. We ordered some of the basic staples to try it out for the first time- red curry, pad Thai, Tom kha, satay, mango with sticky rice dessert. Pad Thai was really bad. Super bland. Kinda greasy. Overcooked mushy vegetables. We couldn't even eat the leftovers. Curry was just okay, but seemed kinda watered down. It just didn't have the creamy coconut depth that you normally expect to get with a Thai curry. It was also SPICY! (I ordered a 2 on their scale of 1-6, and have a decent spice tolerance. It was too hot. Mango sticky rice was dry and disappointing. Tom Kha was very tasty and probably the best thing we ordered, although it had some giant tomato chunks which i don't even think is authentic. All in all, my first experience here was decent at best and definitely not 4.5 star quality.
