Bidrage med feedbackI have endured my last meal at this Subway restaurant. There are at least five Subway restaurants in San Angelo. Over the last two years I have lost 40 pounds eating at Subway. For over a year I ate a salad for lunch there every day. I have eaten at this particular Subway on Sherwood Way at least 10 times and every single time I have left the restaurant angry and telling myself I will never come back again. Yesterday was the very last straw. My wife tries to eat vegetarian and orders the veggie delight sandwich. She constantly has to beg them to put more spinach and onions on her sandwich. When she asked for spinach they put five spinach leaves, which is understandable, but when she said, I would like more spinach please , they put two more spinach leaves on her sandwich. She told the guy making it, This is a vegetable sandwich, there is no meat, I would like a lot of spinach please. He put ONE more spinach leaf on. She said, More please. He put ONE more leaf on. She finally gave up and asked for onions. She had to ask for more onions THREE times. When she asked for banana peppers he put three little slivers on the whole sandwich. He never said a word to her but by now she could tell it was a power struggle to him. When she checked out he never said a word but he did not put any napkins in the bag. It was his last passive aggressive act. There was no one else in line behind her so he was not being rushed or in a hurry. This was not an employee having a bad day. This is the exact same experience every time she goes to this particular Subway. I always eat the chopped salad. I ask for a little cheese to be tossed in and then a little cheese sprinkled on top of the salad. Now bear in mind I have eaten over 50 salads exactly like this in probably 15 different Subways in at least 8 different cities. This particular Subway is the only one that has EVER charged me more for splitting the cheese up..........and they charge me extra EVERY SINGLE TIME. I didn 't ask for more cheese. I asked to take a little and put it in the salad and a little to go on top. Why do we go back to this store, you ask? It is the most convenient location to my wife 's school and she only has 30 minutes for lunch. However. when you leave a restaurant angry.....EVERY SINGLE TIME, it 's time to quit. Please note that as of May 1, 2015 our feet will NEVER cross the threshold of this establishment again.
The employees at this restaurant are incredibly rude and seem unhappy with their jobs. In particular, there’s a larger girl with long hair and a shorter girl with a high-pitched voice who stand out for their attitude. I think it would be best for ASU to consider replacing them with someone who genuinely wants to work and deserves the position. Every time I visit, the experience is inconsistent—service is often slow, the staff can be unfriendly, and I frequently receive incorrect orders. If you decide to order online, be prepared for mistakes, as the wait in line can be frustratingly slow. I've spoken with many other students who share similar concerns about the employees here.
I had a pleasant lunch at this restaurant with two friends. One of us ordered the six-inch turkey sandwich, another got a six-inch meatball, and I chose a six-inch roasted chicken. The meat was delicious and the vegetables were fresh. We all enjoyed our sandwiches. Celeste, our server, was very friendly and did an excellent job managing everything on her own, while also being very quick. I would definitely eat here again. However, I’m not a fan of some of their new sauces, particularly the garlic oil, despite my love for garlic! This almost led me to give a lower rating, but it's worth noting that it’s not the restaurant's fault.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely return the next time we pass through San Angelo.
Good food
