The Mai Tai's never disappoint!! Have been coming here for years. Great service, great food, amazing ambiance!! Love this place, perfect for special celebrations.

Trader Vic's fully immerses you in its theme, and the restaurant is undeniably lively, which are its strong points. However, the experience takes a downturn when it comes to the food and drinks, which sadly lack flavor and are forgettable. The portion sizes are disappointingly small, the prices are on the higher side, and to make matters worse, the drinks are very weak. If you're on the hunt for a tiki-themed spot, I'd suggest continuing your search elsewhere.

Trader Vics reputation is greatly known in the Tiki community, and it did not disappoint at all. The food was fanfriggintastic! Creative and incredibly flavorful, served beautifully, fun and easy to share. A lot is also vegetarian friendly. The drinks are unmatched, made by some of the best cocktail masters in the country! The atmosphere is pure island and the view of San Francisco outside of the windows is breathtaking. And because they knew it was me and my partners anniversary, they surprised us with a spectacular dessert after our meal! The staff was excellent and the entire experience was super fun and romantic. Highly recommend!!

Our first visit to this legendary tiki themed restaurant (and bar) did not disappoint! The amazing bay views and tiki decor provide the perfect setting for the attentive service and delicious food and of course tiki cocktails. In addition to the historic maitai, there are yummy non-alcoholic alternatives. Our table had two stir fries and burgers. All were delicious. They have a kid menu but our little chowed down on the sweet potato fries and fruit garnishes. Did I say the service was great? I'll say it again. We had attentive and friendly servers. Can't wait to go back. Kid-friendliness: They had a highchair, a kid menu and totally chill. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, wide aisles.

Been coming here as a kid; things have changed but not for the worst. They don't have my Bongo Bongo Soup or Rack of Lamb but I found other things to satisfy me.
