TGI FRIDAYS - San Antonio (Westover)

I made a reservation on OpenTable for Mother's Day weekend. I expected it to be busy, but there were only about 5 cars in the parking lot. We waited for 20 minutes to be seated, even with our reservation. It took another 15 minutes for a waiter to come take our drink order. I spoke to the manager about the slow service, but nothing was done about it. The food took a long time to come out, even though the restaurant was not full. There were only two other families dining there. I will not be returning to Friday again, as the service was terrible. After looking at reviews, it seems like I am not the only one who had a bad experience at this restaurant.

First time here since Jim's was crowded so we de used to try this place.

Six of us went for a light dinner after a show. We shared appetizers, all of which were super! My brother had a salad (arugula, red and yellow beets, pistachios and creme fraiche) which he declared the best he'd ever eaten. Very pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff. The only thing missing was a glass of wine and a few beers... it's BYO, which we didn't realize.
