Sumo Japanese Steakhouse - San Andreas

We had a reservation and asked for a lively table. sumo has a strange policy of filling corners/outer tables first (after the hostess) and at the table we sat from 7 sitting available, we were first placed on the side that shared our party, in contrast to us the 4 sitting together (always 3 sitting together). we were once again informed that this is a policy. our server and cook were great, but I can't imagine going back.

Hahahahahahaha. fine eating? great experience? no. it was anything but that. the hostesses were rude and not helpful. we couldn't even sit even though we had a reservation.

We have dimmed here several times. Do not try to use an open table to secure a reservation as they do not have their names at checkin. I have even shown our open confirmation email that has done nothing to speed up the process. we had a reservation of 5:15 o'clock and were not until 18:00 o'clock. eating was fantastic as usual and the Hibachi cook offered a wonderful show. the aeration must be treated as a cook next to us some wobbles that will begin to cough each in the environment. I would suggest not to visit this restaurant in a lively night.

When we arrive our reservation was about 645 and we did not get to our table until an hour later very disappointed because we traveled 2 hours to eat

Food plentiful, chef wonderful, not impressed with those we shared table with. Going back next week. Thank you for great food and service.
