Red Marlin - Hyatt Regency Mission Bay

Food is decent and service was good. It's a little overpriced for what this restaurant was. It's trying to be a fancier, but it's not quite there. Our server was friendly and timely. Even though we had reservations, the hostess sat at an awkward middle table in contrast to open table next to windows with a view. The markup on wine bottles is very high and are marked incorrectly on the menu. We ordered a little Sirah, but the wine was actually a Pinot Noir.

A little on the pricier side, but meal tasted great and the server made it even more pleasant. The staff is very accommodating and offers excellent service.

My husband and I are locals and often there. We always had the best time, but the last two times we had another experience. Yesterday I ordered a gray geese Martini and after 15 or so minutes the server came up and said we were from gray geese, so I brought you a kettle. I asked if they had Belvedere, because I'm not a fan of Kettle and he said sure. Not sure if that made him crazy, but my already expensive gray geese Martini at $20 went a charge of $5 to $25! I'm sorry, but this is over at New York prices and I wasn't happy, even though I didn't complain. Will definitely think twice about coming back what is too bad because the food is delicious!!!

Slow service both times we were there plus the got our dessert order wrong. Food was good but not great. Ambiance is lovely and good wine

Service is great and the food is amazing, particularly and seafood dish!
