Octavia is a lively and creative restaurant that I was excited to try. Although I found it to be slightly overpriced for the quality of the food, I still enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to others. Unfortunately, two dishes we wanted were not available, but our server Molly was fantastic. Despite this hiccup, I would still say it was a fun and worthwhile experience. Make sure to save room for dessert, as that is where Octavia truly shines.

We recently had a fantastic birthday dinner at this restaurant. It cost $160 per person, and we ordered almost everything on the menu twice, along with 2-3 bottles of wine. Our favorite dishes were the sea urchin pasta, tomato salad, and fish. We sat in the cozy outdoor seating area that felt like a cabin, and even though it was a cool night, it was warm enough for us to enjoy our meal.
After reading reviews, I had high hopes for this restaurant but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The three of us ordered the tasting menu with two wine pairings, and the bill came out to 500+ tip. Despite the expensive price, the food was only average at best, with the exception of the deep fried asparagus starter. The rest of the dishes were mediocre. However, the wines were exceptional. One thing that really bothered me was that they simply brought plates to the table without providing side plates for each person. Some courses were rushed and they even forgot the wine pairings for dessert. It's puzzling how the food could look so good in photos yet be so average in taste, aside from the asparagus, wines, and dessert which were excellent.
