Luques Restaurant and Bar at the Chancellor Hotel

I had an amazing Mexican breakfast, so so good! We will definitely go back.

Restaurant was very cold, pancakes were thin and lackluster. Salmon benedict was overly salty. Food got cold quickly due to cold air blowing down. Very disappointing. Will not return.

I will still write this review even though it may not serve a purpose. It seems like the restaurant closed on 4/30/18, just a day after our visit. The service was sluggish, the coffee and hot chocolate were of such low quality that we had to return them, and one of the orders was incorrect. Although the food itself was satisfactory, the overall experience was disappointing. Even if it were still open, we would not choose to dine there again.

I absolutely love the baby spinach salad with cranberries and toasted pecans at this restaurant. It comes with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The service is top-notch and very friendly.

Luques was closed when I arrived. The bartender was completely dismissive did not offer me a table, did not apologize. She passed the buck and blamed Open Table, saying Those folks screw it up all the time. So, I went elsewhere to eat.
