Bidrage med feedbackThis place is a disappointment. The ratings were good so we decided to try while looking for a place to eat.We will not go back again. The place was dirty with grease all over the ceiling boxes of things should be in storage were all over the place. I even saw a pair of used tennis shoes underneath one of the tables in the back. The bowls of noodles were good sizes but lacked the Pho taste we are used to.The thing we were most upset about was the prices on the menu, they are outdated but we were not told. I was wondering why the bill came out to be $24 when what we ordered was listed for a total of $18. I asked the owner he just said the prices went up that I can't expect to pay so little when everything is so expensive these days. That's basically faults advertisment. The same wrong priced menu was posted on the window. Also, the owner was having an argument with someone in the kitchen. He was literally screaming at the lady in the back this went on on almost the whole time we were there.
My favorite Viet spot in SF, a small mom a pop shop threatened by old age and rising costs in the city. They serve authentic dishes with broth boiled for hours and remain affordable.
Nice people. Great food. Nice spot to stop in for lunch or dinner.
Shady business. We got the beef pho #1, pho bo vien #D, and the spring rolls. We were given a menu and charged different prices $3/ea) for each item. They have multiple menu variants— take a photo of the one you’re given to order with . The owner refused to honor the prices listed on the menu. Spring rolls, broth, and noodles were fine, but meat quality was bad.
It 's uncleanliness is a bit exaggerated, though I did not go into the kitchen or bathroom. It was filled with locals., loud and busy. The elderly couple who sat next to me , picnic table style, brought hand sanitizer with them! Anyway , the pho ga , chicken soup, got a hands up. Same ingredients as other places but the broth was nice and clear, peppery and good! Nice amount of white meat chicken. I feel fine two days later! So the poor health report was a bit exaggerated.... I 'll go back.
