Basil Thai Bistro - San Andreas

The food at this restaurant is excellent. I highly recommend trying the Pad Woon Sen dish.

Both of our dishes were disappointingly lacking in spice. My husband ordered the duck curry at level 7 spice, but it tasted more like a 2 on most Thai spice scales. I ordered the medium-spiced cashew nut tofu, but it had almost no spice at all. I'm not sure if this is the norm for this restaurant. Overall, the food seemed to be a watered-down version of Thai cuisine. The vegetables were fresh and the chicken skewer was decent, but the lack of spice left much to be desired.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the young lady serving us was very pleasant. I have visited this restaurant multiple times.

I keep coming back, and the consistency is amazing. Love eating here, great service, quaint atmosphere, and incredible food. Recommended to friends and family.
