Back A Yard - San Andreas

I usually arrive on a Wednesday to her Slow Cooked Brown Stew Chicken, but today Thursday was the order of the Coconut Curry Shrimp with vegetables. The shrimps were perfectly cooked with the right amount of chewing, the vegetables were crispy and fresh, and the coconut curry was the perfectly seasoned so that you had the heat, the spices and the cool with every bite. The fried plantains were dense and sweet and the rice and the beans are almost a meal in themselves as tasty and fill them. Even if you cannot enter it for a specific Daily Special, the entire menu is worth it. I personally love her Jerk Pork, and on days when I am not in the mood for Jamaican spices, their BBQ options are gorgeously sharp in front and sweet on the back.

Last Saturday I tried this place and it was better than I expected! One word: Flavorful (in every bite). I was a bit worried about the digestive effect (if the food/season was too heavy), but I had no discomfort. I had Jerk tofu (comes with rice beans and fried plantains) and my friend enjoyed the Combo Ruck Lachs Ruck cattle oxtails (also comes with rice beans and fried plantains). The tofu really had the taste of a piece of meat, and the rice is full of taste, I still think of it! If you like Jamaican food or want to try, go to this place o its other locations, they have a lot of options, you will not be disappointed.

TLDR: This restaurant is amazing. A must try if you are in the area! 10/10 woupd recommend I loved the food, I love the ambience and the vibe had the music! I love the decor and there was even a painting that represented Haiti on one of the walls and I thought that was super dope! I had the oxtails with rice and red beans and plantain (sweet). Everything was done perfectly! The oxtail had engraving on it, so I knew it would be pressure! To wash it I had a Passionfruit Mango Drink. WOW. SPECTACULAR. I enjoyed every minute of my time here! I'm far from the islands I call home, so it was nice to have something that reminded me of home! Come back!

Large (usually) self-bedded barbecue! Fast service delicious food!!! It is packed for dinner, even sales was pretty fast!!! Personally I really love her jerk salmon and oxtail!!! Your curtains are also very delicious!!! Very recommended!!!

Like that this place is a fast casual place. They have hot sauce for you to sample was your super delicious. All the stuff for super friendly they keep the place neat and tidy. Portion size was a little bit smaller than expected but not too small. I didn't really like the mac and cheese. But their meat plate was pretty good and the plantain chips were different.
