Weiher Wirt - Salzburg

Absolutely a joy, from start to finish. The service was just lovely, the food some of the best we’ve had on this trip across Germany and Austria. And the location is stunning, gorgeous lake and a house across the water you might just recognise… Thanks for a lovely memorable evening

Our group of 7 arrived at our hotel quite late and asked the Concierge where we might be able to eat. He suggested Weiherwirt because it was close and very good. He phoned ahead at approximately 9:15pm and the owner said she would wait and keep the kitchen open for us and did just that. And how lucky for us. The food was excellent and the service better. There was only one restaurant we went to twice in a 4 week holiday and this was it. If you are in Salzburg and you don’t go here you are missing out

Imaginative food superb staff elegant atmosphere. Also has outside seating in season. Imaginative fish dishes and steaks. Nice list of Austrian wines by the glass. I would go there again!

The food was absolutely outstanding, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The restaurant has a stylish decor that is at once modern and classic. Perfect for a romantic dinner for two or a celebratory meal with friends and family. A family-run business with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. A must-visit for anyone who loves fine dining in a welcoming environment.

Fantastic family run restaurant with great touch of service and excellent food. From seafood platter to steak. Well done. Best meal.of the trip. Worth the drive.
