Hinterbruhl - Salzburg

We enjoyed a delicious dinner, served with warm hospitality and amazing ambience. The next time we return to Salzburg, we will definitely dinate here again. Make sure to finish the snaps menu when you finish your meal. A reservation is definitely recommended.

This is an outstanding authentic Austrian restaurant. The Wiener Schnitzel was the best we have ever had. The Pork Shoulder with parsley potato mash was a delightful combination of herb balanced flavors! The sauce enhanced the dish to an wonderful hearty perfection . We also...had the homemade truffle pasta which was the best homemade pasta outside of Italy. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. I will came back to this place many times!

It is obvious that the owners of the Hinterbrühl, Alex, Verena and Dennis enjoy their work! They are made to feel welcome when you go to the restaurant. The menu is traditional and creative with the best Wiener Schnitzel in the city. (I had... in three different places. Your pancakes (very thin pizza, but not like pizza is also wonderful. Seven of us ate there 3 times a week and everything was great!

We spent two weeks in Austria and 9 days in Salzburg. This family-run restaurant is absolutely amazing! The Wiener Schnitzel is excellent! The tarts are excellent! All they serve is just one step over any other place we went to. Even the owners... were so gracious. They were helpful to explain the menu when we had questions. Don't miss this jewel.
