Lovely little pub with accommodation a few miles from Alton Towers,perfect ?

We stayed here following a day at Alton towers. We booked last minute but were welcomed very warmly by Margaret and Dave. The room was lovely. Comfortable , clean and with all the amenities you need including a lovely en-suite, tea and coffee making facilities and TV. We ate in the restaurant and the food was great, as was the service. Would definitely recommend

Lovely stay, warm hospitiality, lovely staff, very welcome, nice range of drinks to choose from, hot fresh food to order, better then staying in premium inn, treat like a person and not moneymaking tool, very close Alton towers and other attractions would highly recommend and value for money

Room was covered in flys too many to be normal when I asked the owner she said they aren’t bad! I couldn’t sleep with all of them buzzing around us all night!! Place is very old tired and outdated needs some life to it.
