Terrazas del Lago - Salta

The view of the lake with its catamarans (not sailboats, but beach houses that can swim with a motor) is breathtaking. The food is good. And you can actually go down and swim in the lake, which is only possible in a few places. Together a 5-star experience!

On the proposal of a friend we stopped at Terrazas del Lago on the way to Cafayate. It wasn't disappointed. First, the view from the restaurant is world class. I spend a part of the year at Villa La Angostura, which is one of the most beautiful villages in Patagonia. In this region there is nothing at the level of the view of Terrazas. In addition, the food is also excellent. I had the Suprema Milanesa Napolitana, and it was AMAZING!!! My wife's meal was also excellent. What makes this place special (whether large foods were world class views not enough) is Fernando Puelles, the manager. He's one of the most beautiful, authentic Argentines I've ever met. He was so hospitable above the top, we made a way back to Salta from Cafayate spent the night in their small hotel. In the end, our 3 Y/o called him Tio Fernando when we left. All we had during 4 meals was fantastic....breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine, dessert, etc.

An absolute jewel to have found this at the chance. The view of the lake meets you at the entrance and then on the balcony. We had such a nice day out with the sun. The food is also excellent and... to fit their service. Nothing can owe. Stop it.

Great! We were a few days, had a very nice room and enjoyed our stay very much! The meals were great and the area is stunning!

Short list menu with local specialities: fish pejerrey.Worth trying! Simple but very good. Try the local sweet with cheese as dessert, or budin de pan bread pudding. You can have lunch on the terrace overlooking the lake.
