La Pasionaria - Salta

This place has probably disappointed us most because it seems so charming from the outside! we had high expectations and wanted somewhere something romantic for our last night in the city. the spatialities are so great that I wonder if it ever fills. interestingly, it seems...to be a few different rooms. After working for a few years in the restaurant business, I don't understand why they decide to keep their diners so separate. if they concentrated to fill a room at a time, then there would be a chance to create an atmosphere. as it was, we were in a room with another diner and eight or so empty tables, listening to the chatter coming from the room next door! there was an unfortunate misunderstanding with our order that was not lokro, but in reality it was the difference between a very big steak and a very local one! it led us to wait for a long time for the wrong meal and then waited for the right one again. if our Spanish would be better, this would probably not have happened, but to consider a management problem again: from those who worked, one spoke excellent English. from the other diners we could see/listen, spanish ruled! would it not make sense to assign the English-speaking waiter to the English-speaking customers? they did everything to correct the situation, and I must say the salat I ordered was really delicious. all in all it was just a disappointing experience.
