Excellent cuban cuisine around an unexpected area. Its a family owned restaurant, and the owners actually serve you! They have amazing homemade burgers, grilled shrimps, meat and chicken, ropa vieja (shredded beef), cuban sandwiches... And many other typical cuban dishes. They also serve desserts of the day, and mojitos, beers and fresh fruit juices. Definetely reccomended and quite accesible pricewise!

I came accross this new restaurant in Salta as I was looking for a place that would make home made burgers. As surprising as it sounds, it is not easy to find a home-made good quality burger in Salta, most places have "fast food frozen" like burgers (like mcdonalds, or even street fast food carts, yuck....)The restaurant is not located on "mainstream" Salta, its rather outside of the downtown scene. Its a cozy little spot, family owned, very well decorated, cuban like ambience with Salsa music on the background. Chef "Alejandro" is actually cuban, and he is very friendly, cordial and motivated. Cristina, the waiter, is also very attentive and friendly. The first time I came, although I was tempted by the cuban cuisine menu, I sticked to my burger plan, and ate the best burger you can eat in Salta: home made stuffed with cheese, perfectly cooked, fresh good quality meat, with a side of home made fresh french fries. Excellent.I came back to taste the real cuban menu: steak & shrimp, "ropa vieja" shredded meat style, and also "habanito" pastry rolls filled with shredded meat and melted chesse with criolla sauce. They prepare different cuban dishes for the weekends, and I cant wait to taste them. They also make mojitos (real cuban recipe) and fresh juices. P/s: the price is undervalued, very cheap for the quality offered.
