Bidrage med feedbackCoffee place with local customers, nice staff, fast service, plaza view, affordable prices. Had coffee with Lecce, good tasting coffee and a really nice fresh orange juice.
Our second day in Salta we visited MAAM and thought to visit the museo de Arte Contemporeano when we stumbled on this little jewel. My Spanish is not very good and google Translate has settled me. I ordered the 3 course. The first course was a small type of potato omelet, very tasty. The main course was the zapatillos rellanos. It was excellent! It reminded me of the stuffed paprika my mother used to make, but they stopped a round of zucchini. I changed from now on to zucchini. I'll try to do it when I get home. For Dessert, I ordered the ice option. I usually don't eat dessert and I was already full, but I ate the whole thing! I hope we'll make it back there while we're still here
A large cafe in front of the main square. Frequented by Salta society and politicians. You'll find many interesting people here. Beautiful environment and very good service. A must, at least for a good breakfast.
Great service (okcasional slow but it was busy). The “Menu Ejecutivo” offers starters, main course, desert (or coffee) and a drink (including local wine). For Arg$160 or Arg$200, a very affordable offer. Also full of Couleur Locale.
This café bar is net door to the Museum of Contemporary Art, right on the Plaza 9 de Julio, We went there for lunch. We were hankering for simple food, well prepared, and this place just fit the bill. I ordered an omelette, a palm...heart and tomato salad (the salad includes two, or more, ingredients of your choice) and steamed potatoes. These were not in the menu but the very accommodating waitress said that would be no problem. I was presented with a perfectly steamed peeled whole potato and it was delicious.. My companion ordered a pizza (toppings of his choice) and he said it was very good too. I would visit again!.
