Bidrage med feedbackFor being a “hotel” restaurant it is quite good! Their dinner menu looks well thought out and I ordered the chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was quite delicious as well as the Mac n cheese. My only complaint is that my Mac doesn’t look nearly as creamy as some others have captured in reviews. Their breakfast was surprisingly solid for being a pretty run of the mill breakfast. Delicious sourdough and jam. They could use having some proper herbal tea options. Service was great.
I thought the food and drink were absolutely exquisite. Until I got the bill. I know it’s a nice place, but $400 for 3 people is pretty steep. You can get the same quality food and a better atmosphere at Log Haven for less money. Not sure if I’d go again.
Great place! Very accommodating and knowledgeable about alternatives for gluten-free. Waiting staff was also awesome! Open table said there were no reservation available but went anyway and our group of 3 got a table almost immediately. Second time, made a reservation for 6 and was able to change to 8 before showing up. Would definitely go back and have the Elk!
Wife and I had our anniversary dinner here and the ambience of Bambara was nice and quiet. You can see the cooks in the kitchen, which was smack in the middle of the restaurant and thought that was cool. Bone marrow starter was something I was anticipating and it did not disappoint. My wife had their popular filet mignon which she said was the best she ever had. My salmon dish was delicious and presentation was top notch.
Our food was delicious and the atmosphere was intimate. Didn’t feel too busy. The octopus was some of the best I’ve had. The beet salad could use a more flavorful cheese but was good. The elk and scallops were really good. Our cocktails were delicious throughout. Crème brûlée is my favorite. Such a wonderful evening.
