An absolute gem. True authentic Taiwanese food here in the heart of Salt Lake City at last! A wonderful restaurant with a variety of signature dishes and comfort food from Taiwan ranging from entrees and desserts to fruit smoothies and Boba teas. You can't go wrong here (especially since Taiwan was the birthplace of boba) This is Asian cuisine at it's most genuine, prepared just like how they would enjoy it over in Taiwan. This review is related to my critique of nearby Space Tea. One night, two appalling experiences in succession. I entered Sozo Kitchen on a Saturday evening to order takeout; no customers arrived during my visit. I requested a custom “mango/passion fruit smoothie,” adding milk and boba.
