Red Iguana - Salt Lake City

Oh, man! That was so good. we sat in this unique cubby that made it cozy for a quiet dinner for two. the server brought out all different types of mol to let us try them. we also tried the chile con queso. we had the molecular coloradito and iguana plate for dinner, and both were excellent. to dessert we had tres leches. our server, alyssa, was also the best. I have absolutely no negative about red iguana.

Found this place through trip advisor and it was excellent. Real Mexican food. We arrived at 11:30 and the place was already packed. I take that as a good sign. The server was attentive and fast or as busy as she was. We had an assortment of items and all were excellent. The only thing that was a negative was that the margaritas were a bit small.

Great Mexican food. service was excellent. atmosphere very relaxed and casual. fischtacos were very fresh. the aromen on everything was just fabulous. the maul was as good as in oaxaca. very popular place and well worth waiting. I reserved for resy and had no waiting time. our waiter rodrigo was very friendly, helpful and only a great guy. when they visit slc they strongly recommend when they have a request for good Mexican food.

I talked to a colleague here. wait was shorter than she was estimated. in the inner was so busy, but I suffered it. the decor and the atmosphere were immaculate. server are attentive and friendly. that food came out quickly. supplement chips and salsa! I have the enchiladas poblanas and they were incredible! I made myself feel happy and full, but not where I eat coma after. will definitely be back! (especially they try the famous maul.

Some of the best Mexican food we've ever had without a doubt. Looks like this place is crazy busy all day and deservedly so. Try the mole sampler and tamarind margarita!
