Pat’s Barbecue - Salt Lake City

The prices have increased and the price structure for the combo meats wasn 't clear. The meal doesn 't come with sides you pay tiered pricing for those. The bread pudding now has a modern presentation but taste worse then store bought.

Pat's BBQ catered a tailgate party for me and they did a great job. BBQ was delicious and it was delivered hot and on time. All the plates and napkins, too. I've very happy with the food and service.Vegetarian options: They have jackfruit BBQ, vegetarians love it!

There's just something about this location that is generally better! I've been here early when there was very few people, and I come during peak live music times. The food and service never disappoint! They say the recipes are the same as the other location, but whatever the reason, it just tastes better here. Even when slammed, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The only less than awesome thing would be their limited immediate parking, but during busy times, you can park in the large lot just to the West.

Me and my brother ordered mac and cheese, chicken, and some brisket. The mac and cheese was bland and boring (Box mac and cheese is better) the brisket was flavorless and seemed like it had been sitting under a warmer for hours. My brother didn't even eat his smoked chicken is was cold and raw in the middle. Our friend got a burger. Not sure how you mess that up but it was super gross and non seasoned. The 2 barbecue sauces taste like watered down ketchup. The baked beans were super good at least. This was our first meal in this town while we are here for a week and I hope it's the only bad one. I am super glad I visited this spot! The food was delicious! The services was great! The atmosphere was awesome. I went on a Saturday and it wasn’t too packed and they had live music. The quesadilla was delish and the sandwich was good. Definitely recommend.
