Kailea Hawaiian Shave Ice

The flavor was great, but the ice was packed too tightly in a container that wasn't convenient for eating. If it had been served in an actual cup (like a drinking cup) and if the ice were softer and fluffier, it would have been even better! We ended up having to improvise with a lid to eat it.

The only way to beat this heat is with air conditioning, cold beer, and shaved ice. This place is pretty good, and the staff was laid-back. However, they didn't have blackberry, which is a must-have—blackberry with sweet cream should definitely be an option that everyone craves. Just putting that out there.

The sugar-free shaved ice was decent. I tried the sugar-free Pina Colada flavor. While it wasn't amazing, it was satisfactory. However, the texture of the snow wasn't as fluffy and light as I've had at other places; it tended to clump together.

Absolutely the best shaved ice in town! It reminded me of Hawaii without even leaving the comforts of good old Salt Lake City. Kaylee and Addy provided fantastic service. I will definitely be going back whenever I need to cool off and satisfy my sweet tooth (they even have sugar-free options available!).

This place serves the best shaved ice! Unlike other spots that have chunky, crystal-like snow cones, this is the real deal—soft and fluffy shaved ice that retains its flavor, instead of having all the syrup settle at the bottom. I really enjoy adding the popping boba on top, although I wish there were more! I often end up stealing some from my husband when he orders vanilla ice cream. They have tables with umbrellas where you can enjoy your treat in the shade. The staff is friendly and patient, plus the playlist is great. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
