Copper Common - Salt Lake City

My group and I went to this restaurant for cocktails. We each had two drinks, but none of us enjoyed any of them. They all tasted overly sweet, as if they had two to three times the amount of sugar they should have. Even the old fashioned, which is supposed to have a minimal amount of sugar, tasted so unpleasant that it was unrecognizable as an old fashioned cocktail. It was disappointing to find that the drinks, which were supposed to be a highlight of the place, were not enjoyable. The service was friendly and pleasant, but we have decided not to return for drinks in the future.

Paying $32 for fried chicken during a recession seems excessive (is it cooked in liquid gold?). The menu also includes many other expensive bar foods that are overpriced. However, the drinks, service, and overall atmosphere at the restaurant are excellent.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this restaurant on a Saturday night during our trip to SLC and we had a great experience. He ordered the burger while I had the fried chicken, and we also shared the smashed potatoes that were just like French fries, but with a twist. I also tried a supply chain output cocktail that was absolutely delicious. The food was tasty and our waiter was very friendly. I definitely plan on returning in the future.

Good food, great business, great staff. they have a smaller menu. the music was louder when we were there, but it made a great time. the personal was very attentive.

This is the perfect downtown spot for drinks and small bites that are still filling. Some of the best food we’ve had in Salt Lake City. We had the roasted cauliflower, whipped local feta toast, a burger, and the house soft serve among the two of us. Everything was delicious! I’m a vegetarian, so I especially appreciated the yummy veg friendly options.I will say I wasn’t a big fan of the wine selection here (it was good, just not my taste), but my partner liked the cocktails and the beer so maybe that’s a better go to for this spot. Food and service was a 10/10!
