Bruges Waffles & Frites

Honestly. The fruit was fantastic. Very sweet and fresh. Everything was good besides my waffle. It took a lot of force just to cut my waffle. Very hard and stiff. I was greeted when I walked in with a "there is a menu on the counter" and then he walked away. Without the ice cream, it would have been miserable to eat. If I want fresh fruit, I can go to Harmons. As for my waffle, I will not be going back to Bruges for them.

Vanilla Torpedo with Creme Fraiche. Yum! -----15 Nov, 2014----- Amazing sugary waffle with Belgium chocolate and the best creme fraiche I've ever eaten. Expect very little in terms of ambiance but sit back and enjoy the waffles with your plastic fork and knife. I returned a few months later to try the machine gun sandwich and frites. The frites were pretty good, and I liked the andalouse sauce. However, the neither the sausages nor the ratio of meat to huge bread impressed me. I will stick to the liege waffles with creme fraiche - it is truly heavenly.

This was worth every pennyWe walk in and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
