The Old Steak House - Salou

Excelente restaurante, me sorprendió la calidad de los platos, mucho mejor que en el hotel donde nos alojábamos. El servicio fue rápido y excelente. ¡Lo recomiendo!

This restaurant is one of the self service type that you can use all inclusive vouchers if staying on the park other wise a menu would be €17.90. We has Caesar salad starter, cheeseburger main and cheese cake dessert. Unfortunately the burger is not as good as they used to be years ago and the bread bun was not ideal. could not recommend

Carefull if you don’t have a good apettie, as the menu is good value for money but you end up with more food you can bargain for. Starter or salad, a main a drink and a pudding, but we had 2 menus for 3 and we still left food. The starter spag bol was more than what our daughter has for tea on a regular day. But it is fast food at the end of the day, as you did not come here for a gourmet experience, but to go on rides. If you want something quick, consider a sandwich and a drink from one of the stalls as might be cheaper quicker and still fill you up.

So a friend and i decided to give this a go as i like a good steak house. After paying almost €20 for a 3 course meal. We sat down to eat in a Western style restaurant. We started with pumpkin cream/sounds and a piece of bread which was ok but not very hot. I then had salmon and chips, my friend opted for ribs and chips. (now the chips were extra because the rib was by itself? The chips were awful Desert was cheesecake which did not have proper cream and instead taste like marshmallow. There were other options such as pasta, chicken burgers, salad, mousse, brownies all which looked like you needed to feel sorry for them. I dont think we will be eating here next time we visit Portaventura. The only reason i gave it 3 stars was for the theming.

Paid nearly 70 Euros for McDonalds type food and drinks for 2 Adults 3 Kids, food was ghastly. the setting is great as a western saloon, it could be so much better.
