Bidrage med feedbackWell, maybe you should have stayed a food truck. The taste of the 3 dishes was ok, but that one tofu dish was all chicken. The dish I had, Teriyaki Chicken was quite a lot, say 90%, rice, 8% vegetables and 2% chicken. Like the song... too much broth and not much chicken. My wife Tofu court suffered the same fate, tasty enough, but, no tofu and the substitute chicken, sparse as the melody. The third court was Sate Chicken. I just wanted chicken. I have Sate NOODLES and again, not much chicken. I won't return. It's a big part, that's good. It tastes okay, nothing groundbreaking, but okay. The lack of protein tells me that they have reduced costs by reducing and carbs. Poor shape.
My wife and I have eaten in a varied Thai restaurant over the years, but the food served here was very thorough. I don't know if you can get the true sense and taste of Thai food in an out format. The yellow curry...box we ordered had soaked the sauce through the rice until we came to our hotel. The pad Thai box was missing from Lustre. The service was friendly, least to say. If you really expect Thai food, you will be disappointed
Damnnnn, consistent food quality and plant-based options are delicious. The staff is great and I am ready for more!
This restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. However, for the price, the portions mainly consist of rice and noodles with very little meat. Additionally, the sauces were overly salty.
Besides the food being great, I think what impresses me most about Hungry Panda is how they have adapted so well over the past few years; starting our as a food truck, then into the curling club, to their current location as a dine in/take...out restaurant, to their current take out only model. Their current business model is nothing like it was five years ago. They are doing an excellent job and they deserve our patronage. Good good, affordable, always friendly. My wife and I am about to head down there right now for Asian BBQ and curry chicken.
