Casa Pelentos - Sallent de Gallego

Bravo Paco and Conchita! This charming oasis, made so by its owners ' attention to detail, and the scrumptious food exquisitely prepared by Chef Paco, truly made our stay in Sandinies a highlight! Upon arrival we were treated to a glass of the house wine, and encouraged to feel at home. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, the dinner was superior to any we had experienced at the finer restaurants in Barcelona. If you are fortunate enough to order the Olla Tensina con alino de morcilla Y borraja (soup with beans and sausage, sorry description is not better, but really incredible) DO!! But truly anything you order will be outstanding!! While dining we suggest you take the time to enjoy your surroundings, and to appreciate the attention to each inch of decorating detail. Their love of their establishment is evident everywhere. WHAT A TREASURE!!!

After a long hard day of hiking and being caught in the rain we finally reached Casa Pellentos. We were starving tired. We had no idea of the wonderful food that awaited us. It was like manna from heaven. Paco is a fantastic chef his wife Conchetta made us feel right at home. By far the best food we had in Spain!

Very cozy rural hotel, located in Sandiniés, a beautiful village, a few minutes drive from formigal. was a pleasant stay, it is spacious, ideal for families or groups. as negative aspects to highlight, the shortage of amenities, as our stay was days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and we only had a gel envelope per person. In the same way, only dishwasher pills, when we were a group of people. what did not bring us was not the time of departure: in the morning. taking into account the price, and that on Friday you arrive in the afternoon, remains quite scarce.
