My daughter went out to lunch with her friends. They are all in their early 20s. She said the soup tastes like it came from a can and the crab cake sandwich wasn’t real, it was so awful she took one bite and couldn’t eat it. She told the waitress it wasn’t good and she wanted it removed from her bill. Instead, a man came over and proceeded to yell at her about why she didn’t like the food. This is unacceptable behavior. When she went to pay, the food wasn’t removed from the bill, and the same man argued with her again and then only offered a 10% discount. It’s bad enough when you can’t eat the food, but to be berated for it and still made to pay is horrible customer service. My daughter is incredibly upset by the experience and asked me to post a review so others will know about her experience.
Was extremely happy we got the breakfast. I got the waffles with home fries and hubby got threes your choice with scrapple and whole wheat toast. Prices were affordable but we spent a good amount of time waiting on refills when us and only one other couple was in the location at 4 in the afternoon on the weekend. The couple next to us got the flounder and said it was inedible. From what I saw they were not offered a replacment but toke the fish home... will return for breakfasts exclusively. Also had some of the smith island cake. Could tell it had been sitting in the display case for a while. Was a bit dry. Parking: Plenty of parking. Could fit the restaurant two more times in the parking lot. Ton of space. Wheelchair accessibility: The hallway isn't wheelchair friendly. It's possible to get in there... but it's difficult.
Food was delicious . Service good Clean and bathroom has hot water
Very good experience. I am on a restricted diet and I was so happy that they had healthy options I was able to get an omelet made with fresh asparagus and egg whites, so a special shout out to whomever made the menu. The cost was $9, including unlimited coffee.
