Red Lobster - Salisbury

Our first visit to this location last year was wonderful; great food, great server, great experience. We don't live in the area, so we made a mental note to come again next time we were. One year later, there's a huge difference. The server took a long time to come to us initially for our drink order, but was otherwise pleasant when she did check in on us occasionally. I had crab legs and was satisfied, but those who got lobster in my party said it was overdone and not good. The atmosphere felt off, like the staff really didn't want to be there. The table next to us sent a plate back due to hair in their food, they seemed upset. It was such a remarkable difference from our last experience that we googled it; Red Lobster was bought out in 2020 a by seafood supplier and I think it may have something to do with it. This visit did not make us want to come back. It used to be held to high standards, and that would justify the prices they charged, as many people treat a trip to Red Lobster as a special occasion, like we do. Maybe it's just this location, or maybe just a bad fluke night (pun intended). Either way, we'll probably go to Longhorn next time. However, this was our independent experience, and I still encourage others to try their local Red Lobster to see if there truly is a change in the chain's overall quality.

Our server was a rock star. Her was very friendly and speedy and made recommendations. He seems to know several of the lunch crowd regulars and really accommodated the elderly. I like that he gave us lemon slices because that tends to be forgotten. The biscuits were super fresh out the oven. I had the lobster baked potato and it had nice chucks of lobster. My husbands fried shrimp were delicious. Great treat!

Went on a Sunday. Not busy at all. Took over 15 min for a waitress to come and take our drink order. Everything took too long. Food was not good. Burger was bland and missing pickles. Bacon Mac n cheese tasted sour and was gross.The best item was the biscuits, they were fresh and tasty.Definitely will not return.
