I love the Chapter House, it's a beautiful building, lovely decor, great atmosphere and good friendly service. We went most recently with my parents who really enjoyed their meals, the ribs and the burger. My other half also enjoyed his burger although he said it wasn't as good as previous times. However, I'm vegetarian and since you've changed the menu to be more vegan friendly the veggie vegan) options are really boring and quite 90s pasta, risotto or salad! So I ordered Halloumi fries and sweet potato chips the sauce that comes with the Halloumi is a really sickly tomato pasta sauce, it would be better with a sweet chilli sauce or Chipotle mayo, and the sweet potato chips were a little under cooked. The reason I was happy to book even without good main options was for the Chocolate Delice for pudding, but you've stopped doing it although it's still on the menu! : Please improve/add some more veggie not just vegan) options that are a bit more exciting! Or add the mushroom and halloumi burger back to the menu. Another plus point, they are doggy friendly and made my boy's day by putting ice into the water bowl.

Only went for a family dinner, but the service was excellent. The food was superb, with a varied menu. These things, together with the location in the beautiful City of Salisbury, makes it a definite target for return. Thank you. Service: 5 Location: 5

Very good dining experience with a party of 14. Super service and food. Attentive and knowledgeable sommelier. Didn't stay but I expect the rooms would be good. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5

It’s full Went in a few days ago had the Bunny chow Was nice enough. Service was great top marks. So went back today The man in charge was great however l was served by a severe young lady. Passive aggressive is an understatement. Cut me off every time l spoke Came across as just plain rude. The only thing missing was the eye roll. Told the man in charge who didn’t appear to hear that she wasn’t polite at all. I suppose you’re busy so that doesn’t matter
