Manabar - Salinas

On the way from the Playa de Chipipe to Malecon Salinas you might pass by the colorful Manabar restaurant and bar to take in some food, beverages and pictures. Unfortunately I only had time to take pictures but it sure looks like a great place to stop in for some food and drinks I love the vibe. Even though I was gawking from the exterior, the waitress and bartender were friendly and smiling. I sure hope I have time to get back to it.

The food was delicious and the people were so nice. Fresh ceviche, delicious chalafan, ice cold beer and 2 for 5 michaladas that we're out of this world!

If you're in the mood for an AMAZING club sandwich, this is your place. I also ordered natural melon juice, which looks like beer, and I'll be craving that for life now, I think. Easy to locate and in the shade in late afternoon so it's nice and cool.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Manabar. We were staying close by this restaurant and passing it by on a daily basis because there were no reviews. We dropped by one morning for breakfast and we're sure glad we did. The food was excellent. I really enjoyed my huevos Ranchero. Staff was very friendly and helpful showing concern for my wife's dairy allergy. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

Their Peruvian Ceviche is excellent...
