An Atmospheric, Culinary and Interior Jewel! I have lost count now on the amount of times I've visited The Black Friar, every single time it surpasses expectations. Simply put, it's stunning. Every aspect of your visit is taken care for. From the moment you walk in the front door of the original pub front you are cared for and treated to the highest standard. The staff are amazing and genuine, which makes it such a nice time and visit. You are then walked through to the back where your eyes are opened to the beautiful kitchen and back extension. Now match that with the food and the gorgeous setting, it's just the best. The original pub features married with excellent architecture and decor makes it one of the best venues in Manchester. The seasonly rotating menus blow your taste buds and senses away. It's hard not to always have their famous pies, this visit I had the scallops, crispy porchetta with hassleback potatoes. Well, hassleback me there right now!!! Closed of with a decadent white chocolate and Bailey's choux bun and caramac crackling, the flavours, quality of food and presentation were exceptional.
