Hannah and her team provided excellent service during the planning process and on the day of the event. The room was lovely and we were able to bring in our own decorator. The food was simple but well-prepared and presented. The house wine selection was satisfactory. The DJ in the evening was fantastic and played music that appealed to everyone. The bar prices were a bit high for a private club, but becoming a social member offers a 20% discount. Overall, it was a memorable experience.

We had booked the function room at this restaurant for a funeral. The staff were great and everything was going well until members of the restaurant were allowed to walk through the middle of our function to get to the member's lounge. There was a champagne tasting event taking place in part of the member's lounge and they did not want members walking through. I expressed our concern about this as it could be distressing for some relatives. Despite this, several groups of people continued to walk through and we noticed that staff had opened a door in the partitioning for them to do so. It was disappointing to see that they ignored our concerns and did not respect the fact that we had hired the room for a funeral. It was a disappointing experience, especially considering the nature of the event.

Played a round on 3-20-19. It was my first visit. The course layout is typicly parkland style, it will be incredible with all the trees once nature awakes... I guess it suits all level of golfers... I would absolutely recommend to play there, if You have not done it so far...

I was lucky enough to attend a wedding at Swinton Golf club. The room was laid out beautifully, staff were friendly and attentive and the food was top class ! We had pate to start, a delicious roast beef dinner with all the trimmings (one of the best I’ve ever had ! and a mouth-watering Apple crumble to finish. House wines were nice, bar was reasonably priced. A great wedding at a lovely venue. The golf course looked great too

The restaurant offers amazing food, fantastic live music, and exceptional value for money. They have a good selection of wine included with the meal, as well as three free drinks vouchers and a welcome drink included in the ticket price. The dress code is either formal or smart, and I will definitely be returning.
