Pizza Service Al Campetto - SALERNO

I was there with my family and we had great time. This place makes a pizza dough that raises slowly and has a nice consistency. They also make pizza by the meter so it's perfect to share. Some of the condiments are unusual but very good; for example there is pizza with cheese pesto and whole nuts. The restaurant is out of town but has an ample parking lot. Prices are fair.

This is probably one of the best pizza restaurants in all of the greater Salerno area. Off the heavily visited downtown area it is easily accessable by the Autostrada A3 and a short drive from the San Mango P exit. The moment you walk in you immediately notice four wood fired pizza ovens. Two large dining rooms and also a parking lot which gets filled rather early on the weekends. If you want in and don't have a reservation the closer to 8pm the better. The first impression entering the dining room is the large trophy display taking up half a wall. There are no Little League Teams to sponser. Upon closer inspection all the ribbons medals and tropheys are competitions and awards for the incredible pizza served by this restaurant. Beisdes personal sized individual pies you can also order by the meter and share a rectangular offering as well. The highlight of the evening are the flambe desert pizzas which for most of us are a new treat. They were amazing. The owner takes orders with an Ipad and is truly passionate about his creations. When visiting Salerno it is worth the trip.

Pizzeria in media, una buona pizza per trascorrere una serata spensierata con famiglia o amici. Non consiglio davvero patatine fritte, per le oche personali non mi piacciono tanto i prodotti congelati, invece la pizza della metropolitana (l'unica che ho provato) è davvero buona. molto condito con vari formaggi la pasta è in media, nello stile di salernitano, un po' salata ma digeribile.
