Goccia - SALERNO

Excellent trofie with mussels! Just wanted a quick lunch. There were not many guests there. We were very surprised by the food! It was really great! We came back a few days later and had the same dish. Thank you!

We had been visiting the Amalfi coast and decided to go to Salerno for the day. Upon arrival by local bus (1.80 euro each way) from Maiori, we set out to find a restaurant off the beaten path and not full of tourist....usually the best ones. Well this was definitely one of them. Up until this day I had been quite disappointed with the food I had so far on the trip. The owner was amazing and super friendly and went out of his way to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. I felt like a regular. My husband had the local special pasta dish with tuna and I had the local pasta dish in a tomato sauce. Both were amazing. Cooked perfectly and very fresh. At the end of our meal we found out the chef was former body building champion Pietro Cozzolino. What a nice surprise. He even came out to take a picture with us. Felt like home. Will recommend to anyone going there.

A bit expensive but with quality products. I didn't like something in the appetizers, but it's goti. cmq the room lends itself to a galant appointment. Nice waiters!

At the ocita from the office we choose this nice local near the course and we welcome in the heated outdoor dehor, they bring us with a celery service and attentive immediately a couple of dishes of good snacks and then a couple of cutters of meats and cheeses all very goose and besides buffalo mozzarella, all with a great choice of wines and we devote a good perfect aglianicotutto also the perfect prices
