I've never been unique in the Salem McMenamin's location, and in the fashion of all its locations, has some wonderful spooky vibes. I was stolen that the service was for our casual afternoon meal with our son. Great tap choices, consistent food, our service was on, very smooth experience with good timing. With many full tables it was great to have a Rockstar server. Definitely suggest checking this place.

We have eaten several times at these McMenamins since our lives nearby. Usually everything is great. But the last few times I noticed that things really went down. While food is good, (just okay), cleanliness is not. Not by a long shot. Today there were not only crumbs, but food on the seats of the bench in the back and on the floor. I had to wipe the seat before I could sit down. It was really disgusting. I noticed last time we were there. We also sat in the back area this day. No appetite in the area. When I looked around, it wasn't just our table, it was a whole area back there. You should be extra careful to keep things clean in view of the entire Covid protocol that was in force earlier. Don't you have to wipe everything off and keep tables and seats clean? Really rough. Not sure we're back.
