Christo's Pizzeria Lounge - Salem

The food was cold and overseasoned. The order was wrong. We could not order drinks because it was so cold, but we ordered coffee to be warm and the cup was only half full.

Christo?s has always been one of the best places in the city for pizza. However, I noticed that the quality has fallen the last few times I was. I'm sure it's a staff, but lately, the pizza has always been done. To the point that I preheat my oven before I pick up my pizza. They also forgot the honey on my Pera Prosciutto last night, so I'm a little salty. I totally believe that this place will make a comeback. So I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

My husband, best friend and I came up on Saturday and sat in the lounge. Our server/bartender; whose name I can't remember and feel so bad that I couldn't really praise it(!!! ; was so wonderful. The Ceasar salad was delicious, the overpressure was perfect, pizza was amazing and the calzone was big enough for two!!! But I ordered shrimp scampi, I'm used to noodles. They make their sampi with rice and a brown sauce. I didn't expect it when it came to the table so it didn't look good for me. My husband liked the taste, but I didn't. I barely ate three bites about it, our server was so friendly about it. She took my record from the bill. She felt bad since I didn't like it and didn't eat my meal. We'll be back without a doubt, I have to try other foods. Does she have the money?

The first time experience and will not be the last. For dinner there was a bottle of wine, seafood and pasta. Everything was delicious and the service was great! We saw signs that they have live music and we look forward to stopping for some cocktails and music in the future.

Love this place been coming here for years. Every time I order to go it's always burnt and small portions that's why I'm rating it 3 stars. If you eat your food there it's always amazing but they need to work on their to go orders a little more
