Casa Tequila Mexican Restaurant Bar

The outside is beautiful. When you walk into the restaurant you may be confused! Very plain looking, but go upstairs! There are two more levels! The bar upstairs has great ambience and the drinks are well made. Free chips and salsa is always a plus! Margaritas come in large glasses and worth the price.

Loving this place! If you?re looking for authentic medican food, Casa Tequila is the best. There are so many menu options and combinations. Their chips are one of the best. Their guac is creamy! Their drinks are delish and the restaurant design is so pretty. I love going there in the summer, sit on the patio enjoying the fountain and live music.

Me and my boyfriend ordered the Baja fish/ Shrimp tacos Both tacos were dry the fish felt reheated. The rice that came with the platter Looked like it was a week old, and the beans look like they are freezer burned, Definitely not authentic food. The drinks were great, other than that we waited forever to get a waiter to the Table. Honestly I would come back for the margaritas but nothing else.

Food was tasty; chips were very fresh, salsa was a bit bland but we asked for something hotter, still not super flavorful but did have spice to it. The drinks had beautiful presentation and were very good. They offer lunch specials which were very reasonably priced $10ish).

Strong menu and great attentive staff. The food flavors were outstanding and the portion sizes were great. Overall if you like Mexican food and are in down town Salem this place is worth your time and appetite.
