Salchaket Roadhouse

"I know it's 'prime rib night,' but we decided to sample the Roadhouse Deluxe pizza instead. The homemade crust was fantastic, and the delicious sauce complemented the pizza without overwhelming it. The toppings were really tasty as well. Yum! I highly recommend giving it a try!"

I had a fantastic experience at this roadside cafe situated between Delta Junction and Fairbanks! We enjoyed the mushroom Swiss burger, the bacon bleu cheese burger, and their hand-breaded onion rings. The food was so delicious that we couldn't help but order one of their pizzas to take home for another meal—no cooking needed!

The restaurant has permanently closed down. It used to operate exclusively for dinner, but it is now no longer open to the public.

Wow! This was our first time visiting and everything we tried was incredible! We'll definitely be returning. The prime rib was outstanding. The portobello fries were so generous that they could have been a meal on their own—I could have finished the whole order by myself, but I had to share with my husband. Haha! And those mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce... honestly, if I lived anywhere nearby, they would have to roll me out of the restaurant!

The atmosphere was very rustic. We had a great time with friends, and the kids were very happy.
