El Corral De Guevara - Salamanca

No nonsense spot to eat, lovely fresh tapas, right next to the University and lots of people watching opportunities. Very reasonably priced, in fact perfect for a stop to refuel.

We read about El Corral de Guevara on Trip Advisor so it was our first stop after checking in to our hotel. We arrived late afternoon so it was very quiet there--just a few locals stopping by. We ordered a few cerveza, a couple of vino blanco, Ensalada Russa, 2 orders of Aceituna, Boquerinos, Empanada Chorizo, and a Pollo/Queso sandwich. Each of these Tapas was very good and the prices very reasonable. Not much atmosphere but a great place for a light quality snack before you adjourn to another Tapas Bar. Highly recommended!

Dropped in for a quick bite for lunch. Some tasty sandwiches and tapas. Reasonably priced beer. Quite good for what it is.

Cheap food, good and unbeatable treatment. When I get back to the salamanca I'll be back
