La Gruppi - Sainte-Maxime

I've been to la group a lot. I booked a table out today, a bit of mix-up, about which table we had booked (my mistake,) but an even better table outside as we wanted. service and eating was as usual excellent, but some of them. the workers never smiled, what a shame.

A friend of us wanted to come down from the luberon to feed with us, so we asked the manager at le petit prince if she had any recommendations. she recommended la gruppi fast, and what a good recommendation it was. we were the...first there at the opening (7 pm) and the place filled quickly. we ordered us at the prix fixe, but I wish we had just ordered a main court. we are in the middle of the 70s and can't eat much more. alone the escape was more than I usually had at dinner. all the food, the escape, the main course and the dessert were excellent. it was just eating more than comfortable.

Went there for lunch and choose the lunch menu. Very reasonable prices for St Maxime. Good food and effective service.

We have been many times in this beautiful restaurant and never disappointed. The food is delicious, the service good and the decoration is very nice. Views from the terrace is beautiful, only a pity the cigarette smoke from other tables there.

We visited La Gruppi in July, as we always do once a year, during our summer holiday on the French Riviera, and we had a satisfactory, quiet dinner, even though we find it invariably a bit too expensive, if compared to its quality; as for...the staff, it was helpful, as always. Certainly, the restaurant deserves a visit, since it is cosy and elegant, definitely one of the best in Ste. -Maxime.
