After taking the ferry from Forestville to Rimouski, I stopped at the first lighthouse near Rimouski. There was this person greeting people at the museum. Between the two of us, French/English, this man insisted that we go the Bistro Nipigon for lunch. I swear if he wasn't working, he would have driven us there. What a WONDERFUL LUNCH. I had this baked crusted seafood crock. Something I've never had.
Took a scenic detour and found this gem! Very quiet since it's really after peak season, but waitress was helpful since we don't speak French, l had the haddock and French fries and both were great. My husband had the lobster club and fries, both enjoyed by him! The day was nice and we got some pretty scenic pictures. So glad we stopped!helpfhelpful
While travelling, we discovered this little village. Quaint, quiet and then we discovered this bistro on the seafront. Had a fish dish which was excellent all the while looking at the setting sun.
Read BoppinRobin's review, she has summed it up, I was one of the 32, we were at least 12 sitting on the same table that seems to have been totally forgotten. So please add on another 10 bad reviews. We even asked what was going on to the other server who was taking care of one of our group tables, the only response he gave us was a nasty "look to your own server" but she had disappeared!! We arrived just before 7:30 and many of us did not receive any food until after 9:00 pm with no apology, and even then the food was almost inedible with over cook fish and chips.
