My wife and I arrived as the winery opened at 11:00 am. Brett, the bartender greeted us and told us about the fire which occurred one year ago. He then went through the wines which were available in great detail. The wine we bought was excellent. We ate in the restaurant and finished that bottle of wine. We liked it so much we bought a bottle to take home with us. Everyone has different tastes so there is no one right wine. However, Brett spent the time to find out from us what we liked and then suggested an excellent wine which matched our taste desires. It was very apparent that he enjoys his job, and more importantly, he is good at it. He cares about the customer and tries hard to help in any way he can. We will be back to stay in one of the Villa 's and spend time in the winery and enjoy another great meal. Mark and Maureen

Amazing winery, hotel, surroundings, pool?everything about this place is lovely, we only went for a few hours and had lunch. The patio was great, with stunning views, great atmosphere, delicious food and very good service. Our next visit will be to stay a few days as we really loved it there.

I have gone to Chaumette multiple times! Girl trips, family trips, couples trips? winter time in the summer time! It?s my slice of heaven in Missouri!! If you haven?t been, you will be obsessed with the scenery, the quiet, the calm, the food, the Villas are the outstanding!! (They?re so nice!! , and just the whole experience!! The pool is so charming!! Again, if you have never been, you?re missing out!! You gotta go!!

We stayed at one of the houses for the weekend. Saturday night we went to the restaurant for dinner and found out we needed reservations. But we could sit at the bar and order takeout. There were 8 of us, but the bartender Brett was very accommodating. While we were ordering our food, a man came up to the bar and demanded a beer in a very loud voice. He kept up his disruptive behavior. Brett stayed a true professional. Handled the whole situation smoothly. After the hostile man left, Brett took good care of us and we had a lot of laughs with him. He even took a selfie with us. Thanks Brett for turning what could have been a disaster into a really fun and enjoyable evening.
