Blue Bay Mexican Grill

Good prices compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. Portion sizes could have been bigger, but taste was still good. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Come back here!

Blue Bay on St. Simons Island has an extensive authentic Mexican cuisine menu with street style tacos, empanadas, chimichangas, camarónes a la diabla, pork and chicken tamales, flautas, tostadas, enchiladas, and CHILE RELLENOS!!! They also have traditional Tex-Mex articles like fully loaded Burritos, Quesadillas and Fajitas. Even the chips and salsa are great. The cooks grill the tomatoes and onions in the house to maximize the taste of salsa! Overall, this place is a must try when you are in the area and love big Mexican food!

Update! 10/14/20 Food is still amazing! Got the Taco salad with the Chicken Fajita and it's the best I ever had! My wife had the Chimichunga again and still amazing! Will be back again!!! 10/09/19 Absolutely loved this place! We saw it on the way to the Ocean Inn and decided to eat here, although we were told by another restaurant. Our server Marlene was very funny and attentive. The food was even better than our favorite place back in Prescott. One of the rare times when you expect the average, but are blown away from the extraordinary! Stay here every visit. Great job guys!!!

Excellent food. Great service. Perhaps the incomprehensible appearance of the restaurant keeps customers away, but everything with our meal was on the point. We'll be back.

Had my doubts but turned out to be really good would definitely go back again
