Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant consistently serves delicious food. However, my steak was slightly overcooked; I ordered it medium rare, but it arrived medium well. Aside from that, it was quite tasty. I gave it 4 stars because the bartender wasn’t very attentive.
First Class Food, Drinks and Golf Driving Range. They work hard to please!. Fair prices, Daily specials on food and drink and Steak night 3 times a week. Awesome!!!
This used to be a fantastic place for my son to practice, but the new no-bags policy is ridiculous! As a mom who brings her son to practice, carrying his clubs in a bag ensures they stay together and protected, plus it makes things much easier for me. We've been told that the policy is in place because people were stealing balls. First of all, these are inexpensive balls, and secondly, if you're experiencing that much loss, perhaps it's time to raise your prices to cover it. The cost of a bucket of balls here is actually higher than at most driving ranges, so I don't understand how they're losing money. I just can't comprehend how you expect a golfer to go to a driving range without a golf bag. I'm really unhappy with this new policy.
It's a nice driving range for when you don't want to go to a golf course. The St. Rose Driving Range is a nice spot to go when you want to take your clubs and just whack some balls. Or if you want to take your kids with you to try it out. The prices are reasonable, only $12 for a bucket of 110 balls. The range is marked well, just watch the slice over the net and into the truck stop parking lot. There is food and drinks available at the bar where you buy your token for the balls. It can be a little smokey though so beware of you are allergic or just don't like the smell.
This is a really fun spot! My boyfriend and I were here on a Saturday afternoon just to have some fun on a lazy day. This spot is basically a bar with a driving range in the back. We hadn't eaten, so we decided to grab some lunch here before we started chipping balls (is that the term? IDK). I had a side salad and a chicken quesadilla. For a bar, the food was really good. The side salad cost about a dollar and it was basically a bowl of lettuce and tomato but, for the price, I enjoyed it. The chicken quesadilla was PACKED with big pieces of chicken and cheese and came with sour cream and red sauce on the side, in case you wanted to add it. My boyfriend had a fried shrimp poboy that was packed with shrimp and he enjoyed it. I was pretty impressed that such good food came out of a bar kitchen. After we ate, we bought a bucket of golf balls and headed out to the driving range. It's what I imagine any other driving range to be like: you stand in the box, hit the balls and there are markers that tell you how far you hit it. Well, I have never played golf before so I was pretty terrible, but I still had a good time learning the technique and practicing my swing. I was just happy to get some air on a few swings. This place is open until 11pm on weekends, so I imagine it is probably a lot of fun to come here with friends, have a few drinks and hit some balls out into the night. I will definitely come back.
