Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Party of 2 .. 55+ couple Wait staff AWESOME he ordered roast beef. his was great. I ordered fried chicken.. It was burnt beyond edible when delivered to me.. They took it off our ticket. Offered to send it back... (We all know how that can go)... I just didn't eat.....

If you've been to one you've been to them all. This one had very friendly staff and lots of nick-knacks to shop for beforehand. Food was delicious, definitely recommending their breakfast menu. I'm a Country Boy kinda guy but my wife had fried chicken and it was delicious as well.

Was satisfied with my food. I really enjoyed the scrambled eggs with cheese and the biscuits and gravy! We went at a busy time, lots of people, lots of noise. If you want to check it out and avoid crowds go at a less busy time. Food is worth it.

I'm giving this location four stars because I still love the food and the establishment itself. HOWEVER... They seem to have suffered a lot from 2020 and beyond. We used to get amazing servers every time we went--attentive, quick, accurate. Now they seem understaffed a lot of the time, service is slow, and orders will be wrong. We have also been seated at tables that were supposedly cleaned and were clearly still dirty. Unfortunately these have not been one-off instances, it happens regardless of the time of day or how busy they are. As a wise mother once said: I'm not mad, just disappointed.
