Bidrage med feedbackWe walked around town looking for a lunch spot after visiting the market. We asked for a table and found we had been given the last one as three other groups were turned away after us. We liked wine was available by the glass, carafe and bottle all at reasonable prices for good wines. The bread was excellent, the starters good and the mains very good. Service was friendly and reasonably attentive. We liked the different salad garnish with both starters and mains. Both duck and steak served suitably pink. A good lunch!
We were staying at a B&B in Maissemy and came into town for dinner. We had a good look round and discovered le Petit Chef. We liked the look of the menu and went in. We had a nice welcome from the waitress and as the restaurant was quiet were able to choose our own table. The decor is very nice and everywhere was clean, including the loos. The menu is short, with three choices for each course, which I like as you know everything is freshly cooked. We shared a very good rabbit terrine, served with mache salad, cornichons and lovely bread. My husband opted for the steak which was tender and delicious, and I had the veal chop which was lovely. Both were cooked just as we requested. We had a carafe of wine, and I had a cafe gourmand to finish. Very good value, nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. I would recommend it if you are in the area.
The most tantalising and emotive experience, completely resetting 2020 for me. Thank you, Le Petit Chef, mi amore!
Fabulous. Welcoming reception from the waiter who spoke very little English but we got by and found it humerous. Nice clean restaurant with good amount of tables but cosy too. Toilets were very clean. Menu displayed outside and on boards Inside. Fillet minion was perfect as the white fish too. Very very enjoyable and we will definitely come back. Easy to find on the square. Wheelchair friendly as no steps and disabled toilet.
Excellent food and service. We were travelling and stopped at Saint QUENTIN. We looked for a place to eat for the evening and we found “le petit chef” they allowed us in before the opening hours and were very friendly we recommend this restaurant
