Amigos Tortilla - SAINT PETERSBURG

Fun atmosphere and tasty food! I really enjoyed the grilled fish tacos, and I also tried the watermelon taco too which was also very yummy!

New restaurant on Central Ave St Petersburg . Open and bright. Love the murals inside. Classic Mexican fare with tacos burritos etc Choice of local craft beers in addition to domestic beers. I had the three taco dish with fish chicken and pork. Each served separately on a small taco along with a small bowel of white rice with option of beans (black or refried). They reminded me of those at “ Bartaco” in Hyde Park Tacos are tasty but take your time as the tacos are small and could be consumed in 2-3 bites. Dog friendly. Outdoor seating on Central available. I’d go back.

Incredible! Loved the Key West grilled shrimp and (special) vegan pulled oyster mushroom tacos. Fantastic service very friendly and chill vibe!

Amigos is a Mexican restaurant that has a nice location on Central in St. Pete. The waiting staff is very accommodating and for us they immediately assembled tables for our group of eight. Our waitress gave us suggestions and information about the specials. The bowls as you see from the reviews are huge and delicious. I had the Taco court and we all agreed that the chicken taco was very good. The special, a mushroom taco, must still be perfected in my opinion. At our table, three of the members had to wait eight minutes for their food, which was a bit unpleasant for us with food. Regardless of this, this place is a good choice.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in St. Pete! They really go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful dining experience, putting in tremendous effort to offer an authentic and delicious menu. Their REAL pastor tacos and mushroom soup are the best I’ve had in five years outside of Mexico City, and they brought tears of joy to my eyes when I got home! They have a scratch kitchen and make everything on-site, using only fresh ingredients. The service is consistently excellent. You won’t regret visiting this place—we absolutely love coming here!
