The Nook - Saint Paul

Had the Juicy Nookie burger! Food was great and service was amazing as well.

Only one person 's opinion, but it seems to me that one thing you shouldn 't screw up on in the food service business is dietary restrictions. nook has failed us on more than one occasion including tonight. looking forward to several days of painful illness now. please, if your kitchen staff is not going to pay attention to order details, don 't even put gluten-free bun on your menu. just don 't. it is not worth the risk, to your establishment or your patrons. needless to say, we will not be returning. the indifference of the staff (including a manager when i brought this to their attention spoke volumes. simply amazing. very sad to see this fixture of st. paul deteriorate into the same mediocre squalor as every other dive bar, but so it goes.

The food here was amaaaaazing! Best cheese curds I’ve ever had in my life for sure. And the juicy Lucy was super juicy and delicious too. 10/10 would recommend!

Great neighborhood bar and place to bring the family bowling. They have a very friendly and accommodating staff. Good food as well. Hardly any Wi-Fi in the basement is my only complaint but other than that I love this place.

Atmosphere was nice. Burver was alright but the bun was super dry and the burger felt really airy. Not sure how to describe it but there are better juicy lucy's for cheapee. In addition the menu lists sake shots at $2. It was $2.50 on the bill and when i pointed it out to the server she immediately told me that the menu was wrong as if she has been asked this many times. When i asked for the difference in chance $3.50) I got the money back but not any apology or acknowledgement of the restaurants mistake. Maybe i shouldnt have gone on a monday and the better staff works on friday. Im not sure. Overall disapointing. Stick to Matts.
